Chateau Ausone

France > Bordeaux > Libournais

Only 7 hectares make up this premier St Emilion estate and the 50-year old vines sit happily in a natural bowl.

It goes into barrels for 24 months and only the best is selected for Chateau Ausone. Prices are high because only 2,000 cases are produced a year and its quality is rigorously protected. Cabernet franc makes up 55 per cent with merlot at 45 per cent. The result is a top quality, layered & elegant wine.
