Mortons in Magnums…
Every wine tastes better from magnum. A memorable dinner at one of our favourite HK venues where the steak is world class. The evening began with our favourite champagne Salon 1999 which was followed by three spectacular DRC’s…Romanee Saint Vivant, Richbourg and La Tache which were all outstanding.
The main course was washed down with four fabulous 1982’s from Bordeaux; Mouton Rothschild, Cheval Blanc, Lafite Rothschild and a profound Petrus. Just to top off the evening a magnum of Chateau Y’quem 1983 was served alongside a bottle of 1929 with the pudding.
Needless to say both these bottles were consumed with gusto by all the guests.
